About

Sally Stenton creates work that connects with the senses, bringing the body into conversation with the earth, exploring traces through time, often catching people unawares and interrupting familiar journeys.

Sometimes digital media jostle with tactile materials and bodies, and her work can take a variety of forms including writing, walking, textiles, moving image, voice, site-specific installation, and participatory performance.

She probes the spaces between seemingly unconnected places and ideas, placing herself in unfamiliar territory and embracing the unexpected.

Her work includes participatory online experimentation, walking practices, interdisciplinary collaboration and artist residencies.

She is part of Experimental Space Collective [esc] and MUD Collective and was involved in initiating Project Potpourri, an Open Call reaching out to other Artist Collectives.
